NHS - Worcestershire CFS/ME Local Multi-Disciplinary Team (LMDT) Service update

8/4/2015

April 2015

Worcestershire CFS/ME Local Multi-Disciplinary Team (LMDT) Service update -

The new team from April is:

Marina Townend (part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) and Team Lead).
Sarah Densham (full time Assistant Psychologist).
Sara Young (part-time Occupational Therapist (OT).
Helen Ayres (part-time Psychologist).

Following received from Dr Helen Ayres on 7 April, 2015

I have further updates regarding the Worcestershire CFS/ME service and staff changes. As you are aware, Camilla Ballentyne (OT and team lead) left the service last Summer and we have had difficulties recruiting to this post. However, I am pleased to say that at our last round of interviews we were successful in recruiting Marina Townend who will be starting with us at the end of this month.

Emma Ironside and Karolina Kowalska,  our two assistant psychologists left the service at the end of March as their contracts came to an end. Dr Collins is also no longer with the service.

The new team from April will be as follows:

Marina Townend (part-time OT and team lead).
Starting with us at the end of April this year.

Sarah Densham (assistant psychologist) who started in March
this year.  She is working full-time on a permanent basis.

Sara Young (part-time OT).

Helen Ayres (part-time psychologist).

Administrator (part-time post) currently vacant.

We are hoping that the advertisement for our administrator post will be going out in the next few days. In the interim, Sarah Densham is covering some of the administrative duties.

Dr Helen Ayres, Psychologist for the Worcestershire CFS/ME Service”
